Wheel Change Project

Abstract

Wheels of Change: Establishing Best Practices in the Urban Motorcycle Taxi Sector in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The project is a collaboration between Universities in five different SSA (Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania) to capture a wide range of Motorcycle taxi related practices and modi operadi. Each of the institutions involved will conduct a standardized survey and qualitative interviews covering issues related to four of the five clusters (user needs, governance and politics, business models, safety & health).
